Our primary burial site is at Rookwood Cemetery. However, we offer funeral services at other cemeteries upon request. Please contact us if you have any questions or need any further assistance. 

Visiting the Grave

When visiting the grave, there are several recommended acts that individuals should observe.

"Think often of death, for whoever thinks often of death will surely abstain from the things of this world"
Imam Ali as
"Visit the graves of your deceased ones, for surely they rejoice at your visit and it reminds them of the hereafter."
The recommended acts to do when visiting the grave are: 

Before entering the cemetery, it is recommended to seek permission from the deceased to visit their graves.

Upon arriving at the gravesite, it is recommended to recite the greeting

 “Assalamu alaikum ya ahlal-quboor” (Peace be upon you, O inhabitants of the graves).

It is recommended to recite Surahs from the Quran and duas, such as Surah Al-Fatiha, Surah Al-Ikhlas, Surah Al Qadr, Surah Al-Falak, Surah Al-Naas, Surah Yaseen, Ayat Al-Qursi and Du’a Kumayl, as well as prayers for forgiveness and mercy for the deceased and all Muslims who have passed away.

Visiting the graves is an opportunity to remember the afterlife and the inevitability of death. It is recommended to contemplate the meaning and purpose of life and death, and to make supplications for a good ending to one’s own life

It is recommended to maintain the gravesite by cleaning it, offering prayers, and reciting supplications.
